Small Businesses |
Clients with an annual wage bill of over £3 million are classed as Levy paying clients. Levy paying clients pay a percentage fee of their PAYE wage bill to fund approved Apprenticeship training and assessment. The Government will top up the amount Levy employers pay into your Levy account by an extra 10% and will also fund 95% of any over-spend from their Levy account. Find out more about how the Apprenticeship Levy works. Knowing how to allocate Apprenticeship Levy monies to derive optimum benefit is an ongoing commitment. Small Businesses are those with an annual wage bill of below £3 million. At least 95% of the cost of approved Apprenticeship training and assessment will be paid by the Government, meaning employers in this category contribute only 5% of the cost.
