Housing Property Management

​An Apprenticeship is a real job with training, so you can earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification. Many employers keep their apprentices as permanent staff after they complete their training.
What does the Housing Property Management Apprenticeship teach? 

These apprenticeship courses are ideal for anyone seeking employment or wishing to develop a career in the housing and property management sector.

Apprentices gain relevant skills and technical knowledge across a wide range of housing and property management practices. 

Housing - Property Management Assistant Level 2

The level 2 apprenticeship has been developed to prepare an apprentice for a supporting operational role within the housing/property management sector. 

Housing - Property Management Level 3

The level 3 apprenticeship prepares an individual for a range of general housing/property management duties, leading to operational or specialist roles. 

Senior Housing - Property Management Level 4

The level 4 apprenticeship has been developed to prepare an apprentice for a senior role within the housing/ property management sector.

Housing  Level 5
​
The diploma in housing is a knowledge-based qualification. There are six units, which are all taught – the teaching takes place remotely via Teams and can be either group or individual sessions. Each teaching session will last approximately 2.5 hours. Each unit is assessed based on an academically written assignment (approx. 2500-3000 words) which will be internally marked by your Trainer/Assessor and then externally accredited by CIH. The units include:
  • leadership and management
  • ethics
  • strategic business planning
  • housing in context
  • managing relationships
  • professional practice
The course duration is usually one year. 

This qualification could be undertaken by existing or aspiring Managers however sound experience of working withing the Housing sector is essential.

Each level of these apprenticeships is applicable to all sizes of organisation in both the private and affordable housing sectors.

​How much does an apprenticeship cost?
