It is hard to find the perfect recruit for your business.
Your advertised roles might attract interest from lots of candidates but not from those with the skills you need. Access Training recognises that employers need a helping hand to attract the right candidates, and that learners need access to the right skills. |
Our aptly named Access Works programme helps businesses find and recruit better candidates.
It is fully-funded under the Adult Skills Fund (ASF) and offers employers the opportunity to take part in Sector-based Work Academy Programmes (SWAPs), which offer flexible tailored training via short, usually two-week, courses.
The Access Works programme has received a further boost following the news that Access Training has been selected as a delivery partner for Nottingham City Council’s £8.6 million share of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). The project will be delivered under UKSPF's ‘People and Skills’ theme, and will commence in April 2024.
Employers have the opportunity to weave their particular requirements into the SWAP training programme, so that individuals who go on to join their company are more prepared for the role in question, e.g. in areas such as telephone techniques, customer service and health and safety. They can go on to recruit, at no cost, from a pool of candidates who have shown commitment towards their own personal development and in a particular sector or role.
