An Apprenticeship is a real job with training, so you can earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification. Many employers keep their apprentices as permanent staff after they complete their training.
What does the Adult Care Apprenticeship teach?

A career in adult care can be both challenging and rewarding. It involves working in one of the caring professions for adults, possibly in their own home, supported housing, nursing or residential home. It may involve caring for the elderly and supporting them in their daily lives. Working in adult care may also mean working with adults who are physically disabled, have a learning disability or who have suffered a brain injury or dementia.
