It seems there is still much confusion around the government’s requirement to ensure all senior housing managers and executives hold qualifications as per the amendment to the Social Housing (Regulation) Act.
The article concentrates on the vast numbers of housing people that will require training and the need for more clarity on the requirements.
Our CIH housing qualifications are designed to give people in the housing sector the theoretical knowledge, essential skills and expertise to perform at the highest level. We deliver a variety of qualifications to those already in management roles to those that are new to the housing sector.
We’re currently enrolling new learners, and our next course starts 21 November. The CIH Level 4 Certificate in Housing Practice qualification, explores areas of housing policy, law, finance, professional practice, management services and managing people and change.
As an approved CIH study centre, our tutors have excellent knowledge of the housing sector. We will support students on their learning journey and ensure they are equipped to overcome day-to-day challenges. All lessons will be delivered online and there will be no exams, just assignments which are staggered throughout the course.
