Apprenticeships used to train the next generation of leaders and managers
12th February 2021
During National Apprenticeship Week, Access Training are delighted to announce a new partnership with insurance broker Aston Lark, to train the next generation of managers and leaders via the apprenticeship scheme.
Aston Lark are one of the top five independent Chartered Insurance Brokers in the country, offering trusted advice to both businesses and individuals. Already awarded the highly prestigious Corporate Chartered Insurance Broker status, they are recognised for their ethical good practice, the pursuit of excellence, and for achieving the highest standards for their customers.
The partnership will see Access Training providing apprenticeships in Team Leading and Management to up-and-coming management talent via innovative remote e-learning.
Corrina Hembury, Managing Director of Access Training, comments:
“We are thrilled to be working with Aston Lark, a leading name in the insurance world, who hold similar values to us. We are also both strategic partners of the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce so it’s great to be able to form this partnership and come together to train the managers of the future.
People don’t always think of apprenticeships for management training but the new employer-led standards provide an excellent framework for developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to lead in today’s complex and ever-changing business world.”
Nicky Webb, Aston Lark Learning & Development Business Partner says:
“We're delighted to be working with Access Training to provide our management training. They have come highly recommended and we can't wait to see what our staff go on to achieve after receiving the training."
As well as Management apprenticeships, Access offers apprenticeships in Customer Services; Housing Property Management; Housing Property Maintenance; Team Leadership; Business Administration; Adult Social Care; and Bricklaying.
