2020 Business Reboot Review on offer for East Midlands businesses
27th August 2020
Businesses in the East Midlands are being offered a ‘2020 Reboot Review’ to assess how prepared their staff and operations are for the commercial challenges of a Covid-19 world.
Access Training’s 30-minute complimentary review will help to uncover areas of a business that may benefit from upskilling whether they be improving team performance, customer engagement strategies or business process efficiencies.
The Reboot campaign recognises the importance of staff training in quickly adapting to both survive and thrive in an increasingly competitive ‘New Normal’.
It’s a view shared by those businesses that responded to East Midlands Chamber’s recent Quarterly Economic Survey. A total of 25% of respondents signalled that they would be increasing their investment in staff training as a means by which to counteract reduced turnover and profitability.
Corrina Hembury, Managing Director at Access Training, describes the importance to a business of training its current workforce,
“It’s often the small, incremental changes that can make all the difference to a business’ long-term outlook. We believe now’s not the best time to throw resource into a whole new business strategy, model, products or markets.
“Through insightful questions, our 2020 Reboot review helps businesses see through a fresh pair of eyes where they might improve and where an increase in skills might bring the greatest dividends to their business.
“Training existing staff through the pathway of an Apprenticeship may not seem an obvious choice to accelerate business performance. It’s well documented, however, that apprenticeship training equips businesses with the skills to implement tried and tested processes and frameworks across areas such as departmental and operations management, business administration and customer service.
“The end result of course being an increase in efficiencies and, ultimately, bottom line.”
Participating businesses will be provided with a final Reboot Recommendations report, outlining both apprenticeship support and, where relevant, signposting them to wider business support.
