Level 4 Senior Housing and Property Management apprenticeship
When Zack started his Level 4 Senior Housing and Property Management apprenticeship, he was working as a Contact Centre Team Leader at Amplius with only limited experience in housing. But what stood out straight away was his attitude. Zack was keen to learn, quick to take on feedback, and always willing to go the extra mile. One of his former managers described him as “a breath of fresh air,” and this became clear throughout his apprenticeship journey.
Zack approached every part of the programme with enthusiasm. He contributed in group sessions, asked questions whenever he needed clarity, and consistently produced high‑quality work. His tutor, Chanel, noted how reliable and motivated he was—delivering every assignment on time and to an excellent standard. As his knowledge and confidence grew, so did his opportunities at work. During the apprenticeship, Zack was promoted to Customer Experience Manager, something he feels the programme really helped him achieve. He also led an important project reviewing customer service across Amplius. The aim was to identify gaps and highlight good practice so the organisation could improve how it supports customers across both phone and digital channels. His managers praised the proposal as thoughtful, practical, and highly valuable. Zack didn’t stop at the core qualification. He took on extra learning, including leadership training, internal policy reading, and research into key areas of housing legislation. His positive experience also encouraged him to champion apprenticeships internally, resulting in three colleagues beginning qualifications of their own. From starting as a Contact Centre Team Leader to becoming a manager during the programme, Zack’s progress shows what’s possible when talent and learning come together. His long‑term ambition is to continue progressing within social housing, with the goal of one day becoming a Head of Service. Zack’s journey is a great example of how apprenticeships can support real development, create new opportunities, and strengthen the housing sector from within. Access Training is proud to support learners like Zack, whose commitment helps raise standards and inspire others across the profession. |
