Update on Covid-19
7th October 2020
We have been delighted to welcome back learners to classes at Access Training and have worked hard to ensure our buildings remain a safe space for learners, visitors and staff. In line with government guidance we have implemented changes to room layouts, walkways and introduced additional hygiene and cleaning measures.
Our risk assessments remain under regular review and, following the recent increase in confirmed Covid-19 cases in Nottingham, Access Training will now be asking all learners, visitors and staff to wear masks in corridors and communal areas in our Nottingham Centre.
All classes will continue to run as normal. Learners and staff will not be expected to wear masks in the classroom although they may do so if they choose.
For apprentices and work-based learners, essential face-to-face visits will continue with the agreement of employers and following their safety measures but the majority of teaching and assessment sessions will continue to be done remotely.
Access Training takes the threat of Covid-19 very seriously and is following the latest government guidance for employers and educational settings to make sure we protect our learners and staff. Please be assured that the wellbeing of learners, staff and our employers is our first priority and we are taking these steps to both protect everyone and ensure that learning can continue with as few disruptions as possible.
