Key highlights from 2025
Welcome to our 2025 round-up!
2025 was all about growth, collaboration, and opportunity for us here at Access Training. From strengthening employer partnerships that earned us industry recognition to expanding adult skills provision through new funding and contracts, 2025 has been a milestone year. We’ve continued to uphold the highest standards with our Ofsted ‘Good’ rating and reaccreditation of the Matrix Standard.
This year we celebrated over four decades of dedication to excellence in training and development and proudly highlighted this by adding ‘Est. 1983’ to our logo.

Our achievements from 2025
Awards and recognition
This year we’ve been recognised for two awards. We entered our learner Colin Colins, into the Department for Education’s National Apprenticeship and Skills Awards, and we’re proud to say he was named Regional Winner for the Intermediate Apprentice of the Year. We were also delighted to be shortlisted for Education and Business Partnership of the Year at the East Midlands Chamber Business Awards, showcasing the strength of our employer collaborations.
Celebrating success
Our Annual Apprenticeship Graduation Event at Nottingham Council House brought together apprentices, employers, and partners to celebrate achievements and the vital role of vocational training.
Major contract win
We secured a new Adult Skills contract with EMCCA for 2025/26, enabling us to support another 500 learners in the next year, building on a track record of 876 learners achieving 1,473 qualifications over the past three years.
Quality assurance
For the 15th consecutive year, we maintained our Ofsted ‘Good’ rating, underlining our consistent delivery of high-quality training and learner outcomes. We’ve also been reaccredited with the Matrix Standard, which is a respected benchmark that we’ve held since 2006. It demonstrates that we’re meeting the highest standards in supporting learners and employers.
Housing sector support
We’re helping housing providers prepare for the Competence and Conduct Standard for social housing professionals, which comes into force in October 2026, through apprenticeships and CIH qualifications.
Looking ahead to 2026
We’re excited to build on last year’s success and continue driving skills development, employer partnerships, and learner achievement in the year ahead. If we can support you or your business with apprenticeships, training, or workforce development, get in touch today, let’s make 2026 a year of growth together.
