What does the qualification cover? |
The qualification includes four units and individuals can expect to learn the following; Professional Practice Skills for Housing The unit aims to provide the professional skills required to practice in housing. Customer Service in Housing The unit aims to provide the learner with an understanding of the role of effective customer service in a housing context, how to communicate effectively with the customer and how to respond appropriately to customer feedback. Housing Repairs and Maintenance Services The unit aims to provide an introduction to systems developed to deliver short-, medium- and long-term maintenance programmes. It also covers the client and contractor roles. Managing Empty Properties The unit aims to provide the learner with an understanding of the context for managing empty properties and how organisations manage empty properties. |
Entry requirements |
It may be beneficial if learners: ✓ Are working in housing maintenance, or have previously studied CIH Level 2 Certificate in Housing Maintenance, CIH Level 2 Certificate in Housing Practice or a comparable qualification. ✓ Be confident using IT and have access to a computer. |
