Charlotte’s journey into the world of finance started with an apprenticeship, proving that hands-on learning can be the key to a successful career.
As Futures trusted training provider, we support them to recruit apprentices. Five years ago, we helped to recruit Charlotte into a Business Administration Apprentice position. She had spent time applying for different roles and was excited to secure an apprenticeship that offered real-world experience.
Charlottes apprenticeship combined on-the-job training four days a week with one-on-one support from one of our tutors, who set tasks and provided guidance to help her succeed. With the support of her colleagues and the team here, Charlotte gained the skills and confidence needed to pass her final exam and complete her apprenticeship.

“Apprenticeships are a great way to gain experience while working, and you come away with a qualification to show for it.”

A career built on apprenticeships
Charlotte’s apprenticeship was just the beginning. Since completing it, she has achieved a Level 2 AAT Accountancy qualification, completed an Advanced Payroll Technician Course, and progressed from Business Admin Apprentice to Finance Assistant, now specialising in payments and payroll.
