We’re proud to announce that we’ve been shortlisted as a finalist for the Education and Business Partnership of the Year at the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
This recognition celebrates our commitment to building strong, impactful partnerships between education and industry, helping learners gain meaningful qualifications while supporting employers to develop skilled, confident workforces.
With over 40 years of experience, Access Training has worked closely with local businesses, housing associations, healthcare providers, and schools to co-design training programmes that meet real workforce needs. Our flexible, inclusive approach ensures that learners from all backgrounds, especially those facing disadvantage, receive the support they need to succeed.
“We’re thrilled to be recognised for our collaborative ethos,” said Corrina Hembury, Managing Director. “This award reflects the dedication of our team and the strength of our partnerships with employers across the East Midlands.”
Highlights from our submission:
Our entry also showcased inspiring learner stories, from apprentices who’ve overcome personal challenges to those who’ve progressed into university or secured promotions in their field.
From co-designed apprenticeship programmes to tailored workforce development solutions, our collaborative approach is helping businesses grow and communities thrive. Being named a finalist is a testament to the power of partnership, and we’re excited to celebrate this achievement with our learners, staff, and employer partners.
We’re looking forward to celebrating with fellow finalists at the awards ceremony on Thursday 12th March 2026 at Nottingham Belfry.
Thank you to everyone who’s been part of our journey.
