Schools Plus Animal Care

Description |
Access Training delivers Animal Care qualifications
at Key Stage 4 at several farm venues and on school
sites with animal facilities. We currently work with
Ashlea, Beech Hill, Derrymount, Foxwood and
St Martins Special Schools. Pupils need to be
confident with animals and because the assessment is
practically based, pupils often achieve at a higher
level than they might in other areas. Units include
how to care for and handle animals safely and their
nutritional needs. |
