E2E Training.
Progression Pathways - Entry To Employment If you are between the ages of 16 and 19 and do not feel ready for the world of work, perhaps because you left school with low grades, no qualifications or you lack confidence, then this is the course for you. You will study literacy, numeracy and ICT. You will be able to choose from a range of work related subjects, be given a work placement and gain relevant qualifications to set you on your chosen career path. You will have the chance to increase your confidence, make new friends and learn new skills for your future whilst having the time to decide what type of work you want to do.
Activities may include:
Preparation for Work in a variety of settings (preparing for interviews, looking for jobs) Personal Development which will include things like managing your finances, understanding yours and other people’s rights also making considered choices for the future. Work experience Healthy Living Health and Safety First Aid Working and helping your local community Fund raising events (for charities such as Children in Need and Red Nose Day) Residential trips You may also be able to start a Level 1 NVQ or NOCN units in:
Animal Care Basic Construction (temporarily suspended) Childcare Catering DIY Hairdressing Horticulture Introduction to Painting and Decorating Retail Your training course will be designed to meet your individual needs. You start on a minimum of 16 hours per week which will gradually increase once you have a work placement. You will attend our premises in Nottingham or at a work placement where you will have your own personal tutor to guide you.
Your tutors will review your progress regularly, talk to you about your successes and offer you continual advice and guidance.
You may get a job in your chosen area, go to college or start an apprenticeship.
You will be entitled to £30 EMA and all your travel costs will be paid. You may also qualify for bonuses.

PLA Course in Health and Social Care
Are you leaving school this year and interested in working towards becoming a fully qualified Care Assistant? We can offer help with finding a placement and ongoing training.
