Is it for me?
Yes if you want a job working with members of the public or working as a team in any job and you want to learn in small class in a friendly supportive environment.

What does the course involve?
You will study for a qualification in Customer Service Care and Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT. You will also gain a further qualification in personal development.

You will gain practical experience in:

  • How to give out information
  • Dealing with customer complaints
  • How to work as part of a team
  • The benefits of being a good organisation

Where will I learn?
You will attend a weekly session at our premises in Nottingham. You may also attend a work placement anywhere which involves working with the general public, such as a reception desk, information centre.

What does this lead to?
Customer Service is a skill which will enable you to work in any environment, particularly those dealing with the general public. Following this you may decide to gain more qualifications at college, by work based learning or gain employment.
